Sara Ramirez
Sara Ramirez is a popular Mexican-American singer, actress and songwriter. She was raised by her mom throughout the USA she had to face numerous racial insults that made her feel being unwelcome. In her 9th year that she started to feel more confident after being highly praised in an audition. Not only did she gain confidence through the audition, but she also changed plans for her career. She attended New York's Julliard School at the age of 22. At the age of 23 she started her professional career, making her first appearance on Broadway with Paul Simon's The Capeman and in films with You've Got Mail. The biggest success of her career came in the role of The Lady of The Lake in Spamalot's initial Broadway production. She did not only win the Tony Award, but her performance was also praised by reviewers. In 2007, she was a cast member on the ABC program Grey's Anatomy and became more well-known. An accomplished singer, she's also produced songs as well as an extensive work. She is also a campaigner and has been active for LGBT rights.
