Ally Sheedy
Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy, born June 13, 1962 in America, is an actress. Her film debut was during 1983's Bad Boys she became known as a member of the Brat Pack actors. She was also as a character in WarGames (1983) The Breakfast Club (1985) and Short Circuit (1986). For her performance on Lisa Cholodenko's High Art (1998) Sheedy was awarded an Independent Spirit Award for Best Female lead. Ally Sheedy is an American writer and actress. She started her film career early in the 1980s with the crime-drama film Bad Boys, for which she received a lot of applause. In the film, which was directed by Rick Rosenthal, other well-known actors like Sean Penn Esai Morales Clancy Brown, and Alan Ruck also appeared. In 1985, following her success on screen she starred as a character in The Breakfast Club - a comedy/drama. The film of John Hughes, The Breakfast Club has been hailed as one of most memorable films of high school cinema. Although the budget was just $1 million, the film's earnings surpassed 50 million dollars. In the meantime she started appearing on TV in various shows such as CBS Schoolbreak. It was her first appearance on television. The show was targeted at teens and began airing in April 1980.
