Felicity Jones is an British actress most popular because of her role as Jane Hawking in the critically well-reviewed film The Theory of Everything. Jones is acting since the age of 12 and has been in many movies and television shows. Her first role was in the film on television The Treasure Seekers. In the following film, The Worst Witch (a television show) she appeared as Ethel Hallow. The sequel Weirdsisters college was also filmed. Her first film, Flashbacks of a Fool included her in the role of Young Ruth. Since then she has appeared in numerous films. Her popularity grew due to her performance in films such as The Invisible Woman and The Amazing Spider-Man 2. It was however her character as the wife of Stephen Hawking in The Theory of Everything' that earned her the Oscar nomination for the first time. Jones as Stephen Hawking's wife second in this biopic, received lots of praise from critics as well as viewers due to the manner in which she depicted her. Jones was later seen in Inferno which was a horror film that starred Tom Hanks. Jones was named British Artist of Year 2016 by the British Academy of Film and Television Arts Los Angeles for her extraordinary talent and work in cinema.
